The Last Patrol is a Vietnam living history unit working in partnership with the Kansas Museum of Military History. A 501c3 organization. We are developing a lot of good material for Vietnam exhibitions, not just at the museum but at many events in Wichita and all the surrounding areas. We have so much going on we do not have enough troops to handle it! We are about halfway through our guntruck build and will need 4 troops for that. On top of this there are two jeeps and two other deuce and a half's, plus an M715 for the convoy presentation. There needs to be at least two troops in each of these vehicles. There is also the UH-1H. A minimum of two flight crew, should be 4 plus troops. We can configure the bird as a slick or medivac. We have an encampment complete with an ammo dump, guard tower, motor pool, comm center and HQ, plus troop tents. When at the museum we also utilize our M551 and M60 tanks as static display with the other equipment. Bottom line is there is not enough manpower to put all of this on display. The Last Patrol needs you! There are no dues, we prefer you spend your money on your equipment. If you are interested in reenacting and want to visit with us, ask questions, whatever please contact me. web sites with info include www.lastpatrol.organd www.kmmh.orgDavid Brubaker m151dave@gmail.com
