Hello From Ohio
I'm new to reenacting. Thought Vietnam would be a good fit for me. I grew up hearing war stories from my youngest Uncle Roger's days in the 9TH Infantry in Vietnam, and watching all the Vietnam War movies during the 80's. As soon as I was 18 I signed up for the Army, 54Bravo Chemical Operations Specialest. Served in Desert Storm and left the Army at the end of my enlistment 1996. After 911 with a grownig family and a GM job I felt a need to serve again but did not want active duty so I joined the State Guard for 4 years. My last rank was SSGT (E-6). To me the Soldiers of the Vietnam war were some of the best and toughest ( some of my best Drills were Vietnam Vets). They fought outnumbered on the worst terrain you could ever find against a enemy who grew up fighting. And they came home to a cold and misinformed public. These Soldiers deserve every Honor. I would like to bring justice to reenacting there service.
