M1955 M55 USMC First Pattern Flak Vest

Hi guys,

I need to raise some money to afford a bit more of my Vietnam kit, so have decided to sell my original First Pattern M-55 Flak Vest (United States Marine Corps) in size XL.

This is the RARE early model without bottom front pockets or the rifle butt rope on the shoulder, and is in excellent condition given the age, with minor repairs to parts of the exterior. Unfortunately someone has drawn over the date of the jacket on the label (rest of label is perfectly intact), however I can assure you it is original and still in complete (heavy!) condition.

I am after about 190£ plus postage but will consider all sensible offers!

I will post up some pictures soon, just want to see how much interest I can get, so it doesn't have to go to Fleabay!
