Hi Folks.

Just thought I would offer (as the show is now closed to new bookings for groups) you guys some space on a shared pitch with the 101st Rangers, Uk Air Cav as we are putting in the names and numbers for the MO show on the August Bank Holiday.

Also displaying will be 5th Special Forces & MACV-SOG.

There isn't an orginised battle at all. But if we can get the numbers there is no reason why at future shows a section 5 battle display cannot be achieved.

Would you DMZ Guy's like to display at the show?

We would need to know names and number of vehicles by Wed of next week in order to get you in.

Mind you my ODs are set out as 11th ACR
and my LRRP loadout is for the 11th ACR detachment based at
Xuan Loc

Like you guys in the 101st, I now have contact with a fomer LRRP from the 11th, who is helping with my loadout
He's also putting me in touch with non LRRP members from the regt. so that my impression is up to scratch

Thats 2 shows to look forward to now...... ;D ;D ;D

I was looking forward to this weekend too :(hope I can get the friday of work for 12/06/10),And its good that its on a Satuarday as its much easier for me to travel on the train and the times are much better..Hopefully be in country soon I hope.

I think that if you elect to do any kind of special purpose unit impression there is almost a generic quality to most of them. SOG are perhaps the most notable exception to the rule as some gear and uniform quirks of theirs are not really seen elsewhere. still, a LRRP and/ or SF troop from any of the companies will be strikingly similar to those from others. Where insignia is worn of course thta is a different matter, one of my OD rigs for instance is for d company 151st.
I have enough spare gear to badge or rebadge as whatever really.
I think what I am saying is its not that big a drama...

If you guys come along there is no pressure to confirm to ours or other groups identity at all. All we are offering is space on a pitch to do with as you will.
