Now no apologies to the airsoft types who reenact films, each to their own, not my bag but I don't decry it.
What I do decry is glaring or howling errors commited in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary by people 'cos they can' this aint the real Army so I will wear what I like cos thats what I would have done if I was in then (really? even with the late era stuff can still be wrong)

It all comes down to the simple case of

Do some research on your chosen unit................ simples

Now when it comes to airsoft Nam style............... I think they just get the first bit of gear that looks right as all they want to do is shoot ASAP

Some Namsofters are good as a source for bits of kit or know where to look to get it............ Wild Bill on Vietnam airsoft UK is a mind of info when it comes to ASASR.............. But has loads of contacts in the states who know their thing
