I got this on ebay but the dealer was in Hanoi and given the condition and construction I don't think it is a recent fake (like any number of NLF battle flags from Vietnam). I am assuming it is a unit banner of some sort and along with my trusty K98 Mauser, this is what I have now as I begin getting the gear for a VC impression. Any Vietnamese speakers out there who could help me with the translation? Thanks Attachments:

In answer to my own query I strugled through the Vietnamese looking for place names. It looks like this is from the Ba-Rai/Vung Tau area of South Vietnam which is a coastal area South of Saigon. There are a lot of these commemorative flags around and now I wonder of it was mae in 1967 or it is memorializing something that took place in 1967.

Washed it through Google translate and got this:
