Hello,
I'm currently reenacting WW2 in the U.K, but I've always been interested in the Vietnam war. I've just finished reading 'Chickenhawk' by Robert Mason and found it highly interesting and poignant. I feel that I want to branch out from WW2 whilst still keeping my place within my old group. So I'd like to perhaps join a group and slowly build up my gear.
At the moment I am leaning towards joining UK-AIRCAV.

So do 3rd Force Recon accomadate for a standard grunt impression?
I'm generally more interested in the standard footsoldier 'G.I' representation or Heli pilot.
I live in down south in Brighton and I don't drive so I it would be good to be with a group that generally goes to events like Military Odyssey and Beltring.
I can take the train but its always a bit of a hassle.
