i`v have recently joined to find its a very queit forum are any of the groups in the uk actualy on here and actively use it like the ww2reenacting forum

Hi all, I here every night............
As you say it's dead at the moment......... Always is during winter..........
I lot of the members join, make a couple of posts and then don't return as they use there "own" groups forum posting set-ups
Its a pain but thats life............
Hope this helps answer the "ghost -town" effect

maybe getting it out there a bit more like at war & peace hand out a load of flyers to all the guys there

We tried going down the "flyer" route @ War & peace when we set up
'DELTA TO THE DMZ' Which was a group which consisted of 4 units that sevred in Nam......
3rd Recon Marines
11 ACR
173rd Airborne
25 Inf
The problem we found was that there are not enough people who are willing to join "new" groups
As 1st Aircav (uk) are a large group with history.they get the new people into the scene.....
But we wanted to pick units that were different from the every day grunts & marines............
It never worked, so was binned.............
As you can tell by thye membership on here, lots log on make a couple of posts and then sit in a corner waiting for action........... The action has been set up, advertised on here, but still no one shows up......... I have access to 130 acres of woodland smack bang in the middle of the country, which makes it even for everyone to visit, yet after 3 years, it's the same old bods who turn up.......... New blood is what we need.......
Only then can we start to think about teaming together to make viable show / display group........

well there is me and hansome on here that want to get into it but the battleing side of things, as we are tied up with the south wales borderers at shows,
he used to do it a few years ago but we a group of 3 do vietcong as well as air cav and 25th Inf. Div! so can mix and match at battles
and also have all our own blank fireing (top venting) guns so we are ready to go anytime
