Question ...i know the M1 was used in nam ..but when was it totaly stoped being used ..or was it used all the way through ?..and as i have one for my ww2 ranger ..could i get away with useing it for a ranger in nam ..i am thinking no

It was used by the Koreans, Vietnamese CIDG, Nung Mercs and the Montagnards... However, if you had an M1/M2, it would work for early advisor period (1963/64)

just i saw on a prog in tv that thay was used by us forces in nam ..was wondering by who thats all and if i could use my one ..also saw a rangers prog and 1 was saying in nam he used a ak47 all the time ...may go down that route

The carbine was issued to MPs for use in the M706 Commando vehicle. M16 front sights wouldn't fit through the firing ports. US logic huh?
