The Marine Corps did not issue foll age bands for helmets, any seen in photos were gotten from Army individuals we made our own from inner tubes off deuce and a half trucks.I have since made several for vets out of tubes made 1 1/2 inches wide.With a little practice they are easy to make, try to cut them so they dont have a distinct v shape on the seam and they appear like a rubber band.
