I have a number of original unissued 3rd pattern jackets & trousers for sale.
Jackets
Manufactured by the Henderson Mfg Co & the DSA label dates them to 1970. They are manufactured in ripstop poplin. There are various issue ink stamps & manufacturers stamps under each pocket flap. They are all marked size small regular, but like all jungle clothing, are generously sized. Measurements are as follows:
Armpit to armpit across the chest 21" / 53.5cm
Sleeve length from tip of shoulder to cuff 24" / 61cm
Overall length 30" / 76cm
Trousers
Original mint, unissued 3rd pattern jungle trousers / pants. They were manufactured by the MLW Corporation & the DSA label dates them to 1969. They are manufactured in ripstop poplin.
As expected they have all the details you would expect to find in genuine trousers manufactured during this period, including single button rear pocket flaps, inner pocket inside the large left leg pocket & drawcords at the bottom hem of each leg. There are various issue ink stamps & small white manufacturers stamps under each pocket flap.
They are all marked size medium short, but like all jungle clothing, are generously sized. Measurements are as follows:
Waist 36" / 91.5cm
Inside leg 30" / 76cm
Overall length 40 1/2" / 103cm
The waist has an adjusting strap on each side. For reference, I am 5'10" with a 34 waist - these fit me perfectly.
Condition of the jackets & trousers is absolutely mint unissued, still stiff from the factory with no blemishes or other storage staining. Impossible to upgrade - it looks like they were made yesterday! No stitch holes from insignia as you would expect on the jackets.
Looking for £20 for the jackets, £50 for the trousers. PM me if interested.
