FOB Norris 1969 Reenactment. April 26-28 - Vietnam reenactment, Columbus, TX (Alleyton, TX). Organized by the National United States Armed Forces Museum, the event is set on over 1000 acres of diverse terrain and featuring challenging and unorthodox scenarios for both sides. The scenario is set in Tay Ninh Providence (III Corps) a short distance from the Cambodian Border in the spring of 1969. United States and Coalition elements have been deployed to the area to assist III Mike Force personnel in a mechanized assault to recapture of FOB Norris, a lightly-guarded Special Forces encampment overrun several months prior by VC and NVA forces, prior to regaining control of the area of operations from the enemy and striking back against their smuggling network.
