Ok I am looking for kit for the USMC of the period 1968 - 1971, this is uniform, field equipment, weapons, basically anything. Origional prefered but my look at good repro's.
I am a WWII reenactor but I am now starting my own USMC unit and coming into Vietnam War reenactment, so need most items.

The USMC was the Poor Cousin of the Army, so basically, for webbing, the WWII stuff in Green can be used...
SOF have the M14 Belts and the Pouches.
The M52 Flak Jacket is a bit of a search, but drop LIPTON a line on t'other Forum, he's got a line on a lot of things...

Trying to persuade him to sell it to me.. Hello Chris,hope the Flak Vest was ok for you  Have these which ill post pics of when i get time if any good to you and also an M58 OD USMC fatigue shirt. M1961 belt-the type with the pop studs for the M14 pouches-possibly a repro in vg to mint condition-LONG SIZE. 4 original M1961 M14 pouches in used but complete condition. M1910 canteen carrier-possibly Nato but same as US.Worn but useable condition complete with repro Alum M1910 canteen. Pair of USMC M1941 suspenders-MINT. M1941 top pack-original.VG condition but has 2 small straps missing(easily replaced) from the front-the straps that secure the e tool handle.Also missing(as seems to be on most packs) is the small strap and hook that connects to the lower pack. New OD USMC Casey Jones style cap in a Large size. £90 posted. Quite rare and be different from the usual M56 webbing |
