Hello all! I joined this forum because I am looking for specific reenactors who may have participated in reenactments that were photographed by a Vietnamese-American photographer, An-My Le, in Virginia, between 1999 and 2002. If you participated in these particular reenactments or know someone who did, I would love to talk to you about your experience. Please contact me!
I am inquiring about these reenactments because I am currently writing my dissertation on artwork that uses reenactment to deal with the Vietnam War. Although I am focused on art, i am very interested in war reenactment--motivations for it, logistics of it, cultural ramifications of it, etc. I look forward to learning from you all.
