I keep coming across threads that have no activity so I may as well add something. I just was curious on how many people are interested in having or actually have put together a Soviet adviser impression. I am in the process of putting together a Soviet combat adviser kit (although most advisers were stationed far up in the north and instructed the NVA on AA equipment such as SAM systems and Jets for the NVAF) . As far as I know, Soviet advisers in the field just wore regular NVA uniforms and gear as not to draw attention to themselves. The other advisers just wore civilian clothes when they were in the north.
Here are some pictures of actual Soviet advisers for reference. On the left are equipment advisers and the ones on the right are field advisers. Also, I uploaded a picture of my Identification card for my upcoming Soviet impression that I put together. The picture is just a placeholder until I get a suitable face shot
