Hi this is my second year doing Vietnam I do primarily us ww2 I have a complete web gear including light weight rucksack I do 2/7 cav I'm in the cinncinnati area

How is everything going. It has been forever since I have been on the board. I am putting something together in Ohio and am looking for some people. It will be a standard infantry unit. Soooooo many people want to be LRRP's, MACV, SOG. No thanks. It is always a bit embarrassing seeing those guys wearing tiger stripes with painted faces and very very very out of shape. Anyway I digress. The plan is to create an infantryman that can put on whatever patch needed at reenactments and be accurate. Think of it as a generic soldier that can be well rounded. We will have fun and we will be different from the norm in the fact that we will be good. Infighting and leadership fights will be for the birds. We will be a team. We will be inviting to others. I hate how people look down their noses at people who don't yet have a complete kit. I think we should help those who need stuff for their kit. "Farby" is bad word and is only there to describe those less fortunate in reenacting. So "farb" is not in our vocab. We will make sure everybody is good to go. I have had a ton of interest in starting this group. People just want to be involved with a good Vietnam reenacting unit. Drop me a line when you get a chance. Thanks!!!
