I picked up this m79 vest at a flea market for dirt cheap. I usually don't buy anything unless I know for sure it's from Vietnam era or older but the price was right so I went for it. I know this type of vest was issued during war time but I dont know how long they were in service, for all I know this could have been from the 80's. The pictures I've been seeing online look legit but I feel like the material is slightly different.
