I have a pair of '67 dated 3rd pattern jungle boots and they squeak when I walk in them. This is obviously not a good thing when in the boonies. For the life of me I can't think of anything that will resolve it. Any solutions?
Also as I'm flat footed I wear insoles to support my arches could this be the cause?
Cheers
Chris

In the forces we used to use a leather oil to stop squeak's.

Chris i had a pair just the same and i asked a vet how to cure it and he told me to put them on then get them into the hottest water you can stand for a couple of minutes then take them off and fill them full of paper and let them dry naturally not only does it shape the boot's to your feet and yes you got it no more squeking
