At a recent military timeline encampment in Southern NJ. Took this one image of myself and photoshopped it into an actual photo of GIs (25th Inf) near Cu Chi on Christmas Day. Upon looking at my new Art work, I could only think of the quote.... Whataya say there,Bob? A guy like that.... make it - yes or no?
Un-huh, un-huh, un-huh.... I have to tell you that's precisely what I thought. I mean sometimes I just look at a guy and I know.... this fellas not gonna make it....... there's no fuckin' way.Attachments:

My first Nam event. I'm in North Carolina USA near the small town of Enfield in Halifax County. Sounds kind of British right? My impressions revolve around various Special Forces units. For this unit I was part of a Mobile Guerrilla Force. In most places in the US we use real firearms. It took me a while to build my CAR15 but it performed as well as could be expected firing blanks. Tigers are mid 1990s production Tiger Stripe Products advisor cut twill fatigues. My Montagnard bracelet was purchased from www.montagnards.org. This organization helped relocate Montagnards from Vietnam to the hills of western North Carolina. If you're thinking of getting a Montagnard bracelet before you order a $10 copy from Vietnam, consider spending a little more to help support real Montagnards. The V40 grenades are East Asia Supply Co. reproductions. Most of the rest of my kit is actually genuine period correct military. I'm hooked on the hobby now! Attachments:
